Here are some more photos from the Decatur DCI show last Wednesday:

Southwind Drum Major

This first pic is the drum major for Southwind. As you can see, it was a beautiful day with a setting sun. That turned out to be much more of a challenge than I expected, partly just because I’m spoiled by being able to see the shot right after I take it, and because of the sun, that just wasn’t as possible. I actually felt a bit like I was shooting film! (Embarrassed!)

Southwind Colorguard

This next one is a color guard member also from Southwind.

Madison Scouts Baritone player

And last for tonight, a baritone player from the Madison Scouts. In this pic you can tell it was a hot evening and they were working hard by the sweat streaming down his cheek.
