Where’s Waldo?

Phew! Ok, I knew running my own business was going to be a lot of work, but WOW. I’m about ready to hire an employee to help out. Ok, no I’m not. How lucky am I that just over one month in to running Metta Audio and I have more work than I can handle. No complaints here!

First off I have a couple updates to share. Boss Lady and I have been pounding out the photog, but I’ve been a bit remiss in posting updates to my site. The wait is over. In case you haven’t seen images from these shoots on Betsy’s blog there are three new shoots posted on my photography page.

The first new one is a shoot we did of Betsy’s sister’s family. Penny and her family all piled into our backyard for an afternoon shoot in early November. It was a fun shoot and I really felt like we came away with a set of photos that really capture the personality of her family.

The second shoot was taken for some friends of Betsy. We met Molly, Dave, Braden and Kenna at their house and then headed over to the farm next door. Molly’s dad owns a farm complete with tractors and a big red barn. Betsy and I loved shooting their family there! It was like photography crack with all the great textures and colors, and despite being tired and hungry, Braden and Kenna did a great job letting us stick cameras in their face all evening. I really hope they invite us back for some more photos in the spring!

The last shoot was taken at the Mocha Lounge where we shot Rebecca. We bundled Miles up and took him over to meet Erin and Preston for a spot of soy chai. That coffee shop has a beautiful wall of windows with makes for some wonderful naturally lit shots, so we just had to break out the camera and snap some pics. Betsy and Erin met at a mom to mom group, and Erin just gushed over Miles at the shop. In return Miles just gushed over her necklace! It was great meeting Preston and it will be fun watching the two boys grow together.

I’ve got a bunch of other things in the works including a new marching band piece, a trip to BOA, and even more photography. But that’s for another blog.

Much Metta,

John
