And ahead of schedule, too!
Ok, everyone, here’s the latest… I actually have music written to the entire clip, and I have to say, I’m pretty happy with it! I’m still working through a few spots, mostly re-orchestrating things like changing a harp part to a bell part, or taking the cello out of a melody. You know, that kind of thing. Other than that, I think I’m done with the composing phase. The next step for me is to start mixing the audio so it sounds more like a real orchestra, and to start the process of creating a score. That’s never an easy process because there’s SO much detail to keep track of, but it’s much easier once the audio is done.
So you want to hear it?
There you go! Take a listen and see what you think!
Also, I’ve added a guest book for everyone to sign.
Let me know you’re out there and following along. You can, of course, always leave a comment on the bolg as well. Thanks again to everyone who has contacted me in some way to express their support.

New Music!!
Today I spent some time working on a new intro to a video I’m producing for Marching Show Concepts. It’s a percussion instruction video, so I’m taking this an a opportunity to compose some music for a drumline, ala cadence.
Take a listen at my music page.
Let me know what you think. It’s short because at this point I don’t know how long the intro will be, since I haven’t created it yet, but you get the idea.
Ok, I’m off to write movie music!

New Site!
Check out my new site! I’ve been thinking about updating it ever since I decided to actually name my music studio. Now that I’ve settled on Metta Audio, I have finally had the motivation to spend some time and make it more interesting and hopefully more user friendly. I plan on using this blog to keep a running update on my progress every couple of days as I work my way through the competition, so if you’re at all interested in following along, check back often.
Thanks for stopping by. If you have any suggestions on things I can do to make my site easier to use, by all means let me know.
Much Metta,
John
